'Pumpkin Home'
A wee cozy home to a bat
Materials & Measurements:
The pumpkin has been hand sculpted from stone clay, then painted with acrylics while the bat was made from polymer clay and feather down (collected from naturally molted feathers from my parrot, Lily)
Kindly note, the bat wings are quite brittle as they are made from very thin polymer clay to create a translucent effect. Gentle handling when lifting and lowering the bat from pumpkin will prevent the wings from snapping.
Framing the door are handcrafted paper foxgloves and to the left is preserved moss with itty bitty flower buds
This pumpkin measures 2.25 x 2 inches when closed
Packaging:
This little sculpture will be lovingly wrapped and packaged with plastic-free*, sustainable materials, ready for gifting to that special someone or as a sweet treat to yourself.
*any plastic used is being reused from my supply order wrappings or given to me by friends and family.
